What is the EV Overseas Internship?
The EV Oversea Internship in Lanzhou offers a unique opportunity for students to get a hands-on experience in the field of international public service. Students will travel to Lanzhou, a city in one of the poorest provinces of China, where they will collaborate with the Little Red Scarf team. Little Red Scarf (LRS) is EV's partner non-profit organization that helps to provide heart surgeries for impoverished children who suffer from congenital heart disease. Students will visit hospitals, interact with the children and their families, and learn about the impact that LRS has on the surrounding communities. According to one of our past interns, "Students will take away so much knowledge, experience, and passion to serve from this journey."

As a Lanzhou intern, you will be able to see the far-reaching impact that LRS has on the lives of children. You will get to hear the families’ stories first-hand and become a part of the support system that cares for these families.You may even get to visit some of these families’ homes and observe the conditions they live in.
